This project brings the original anime series into a new format using 3D Cell-look technology to remodel its visual style. Players can control characters such as Satsuki Kiryuin and Ryuko Matoi while exploring an alternate story set in Honnou City. The narrative follows Ryuko Matoi as she enrolls at Honnouji Academy to investigate the truth behind her father's death. Her journey involves a special uniform known as the Goku Uni within the academy setting. The game features devastating combos and allows users to destroy opponents while reliving scenes from the original series. Cinematics accompany these moments to present the world with updated visuals that match the source material. Studio TRIGGER created the original television animation under Hiroyuki Imaishi, who also worked on Gurren Lagann. Kazuki Nakashima served as the scenario writer for the original television adaptation that this fighting game expands upon. The experience draws players deeper into a vivid world filled with action sequences derived from the 2013 anime title.
