Niffelheim is an action indie adventure RPG and survival simulation published by Ellada Games on September 26, 2018. The game supports both single-player and co-op multiplayer modes for players to explore together. In this title, warriors continue to fight even after death while facing the cold, darkness, and mortality of the Underworld. Players must manage their provisions and defend themselves against threats in these mysterious lands. You can crush attackers who dare to invade your territory, as each fallen enemy brings you closer to Asgard. Scavenged materials like bones, teeth, and fur serve as resources for crafting weapons and armor. Building a fortress allows you to protect yourself from enemy attacks while helping to destroy the attackers. The Death Priests will issue ultimatums that require you to decide whether to comply or reject their orders. Rejecting these orders means joining the fight against their dead minions in battle. You can find a way out by collecting all the pieces of the portal to Asgard. These pieces are fiercely guarded by mighty giants, undead creatures, and deadly spiders during your journey. Crafting involves brewing various potions from mushrooms and slain beasts to increase your strength. Cooking dishes provides food for friends while brewing poison can eliminate powerful trolls. Exploring ancient caves leads you to the very heart of the world where you find powerful artefacts. These artefacts help you win the final battle and reveal what is hidden in the darkness. The main story takes approximately 13 hours to complete, with additional content extending playtime to 19 hours. A completionist run requires about 30 hours to finish all available content.
