About
Odd things are happening at the SoulStorm Brewery where evil Glukkons use Mudokon tears as a key ingredient for their best-selling beverage, SoulStorm Brew. They stop at nothing to obtain these tears because torturing the Mudokons is their preferred lifestyle. Abe's peaceful retirement was shattered when a vision from the Three Weirdos revealed that the Magog Cartel was mining Necrum, the sacred Mudokon city of the dead. This mining operation collects bones specifically to make super-addictive SoulStorm Brew. After freeing the Mudokon spirits imprisoned in the Mudanchee and Mudomo Vaults, Abe gained scary powers from the Weirdos. These new abilities include the capacity to heal his Mudokon friends of SoulStorm addiction and the power to turn invisible. Abe infiltrates the transportation hub of FeeCo Depot and uses explosive farts to survive adventures at the Slig Barracks and Bonewerks. He eventually breaks into the SoulStorm Brewery to continue his mission. Once again, it is up to Abe to save his race using only his loincloth, chants, and wits. The gameplay focuses on solving puzzles while avoiding death in a challenging environment. Players will encounter great and bizarre graphical design throughout the experience. This title offers single-player action within the Action, Adventure, and Platformer genres. The game was developed and published by Oddworld Inhabitants and released on November 29, 1998. Everything loved about Abe's Oddysee returns with quicksaves and explosive farts included in this version. The narrative involves Abe breaking into the SoulStorm Brewery after gaining new powers from the Weirdos.
