About
Onee Chanbara ORIGIN is an action title developed by Tamsoft and published by D3PUBLISHER that was released on October 14, 2020. This single-player experience serves as a full HD remake celebrating the fifteenth anniversary of the original Onee Chanbara series. The game combines elements from THE Onee Chanbara and THE Onee Chanbara 2 into one high-speed package running at sixty frames per second. The narrative follows two sisters named Aya and Saki who are bound by mutual hatred and locked in a brutal fight to the death. Set in the year 20XX AD, the story takes place in Tokyo, which has become a dystopic wasteland overrun by living corpses known as the Undead. Main character designer Katsumi Enami was responsible for bringing new life to these characters within this recreated re-release. Players can expect to spend approximately five hours completing the main story or twelve hours if they include extras. Those aiming for completion will find the total playtime extends to nineteen hours. The evolution of this high-speed action game is presented as an unmissable treat for fans of the franchise.
