About
Ragnarock is a rhythm game developed and published by WanadevStudio that launched on July 15, 2021. The title falls within the action, indie, and casual genres while offering both single-player and multiplayer experiences. Players can enjoy this game on PC or VR platforms. In the single-player mode, you act as a viking captain competing in a ship race. The core gameplay involves using two hammers to crush incoming runes in time with epic music tracks. You must hit these runes perfectly to accumulate combo energy within your hammers. Reaching high combo levels allows you to activate a speed boost for your vessel. The soundtrack features curated rock and metal tracks from artists such as Alestorm, Gloryhammer, Saltatio Mortis, and Wind Rose. These songs follow a festive viking, celtic, or pirate style designed to match the game's theme. The multiplayer component lets you set sail against rivals in co-op or competitive scenarios. You can try to outrace other players and carve your name on the leaderboard. The design follows arcade traditions where simple mechanics make the game easy to play but hard to master. Success depends entirely on your sense of rhythm rather than complex controls.
