About
SEUM: Speedrunners from Hell is a first-person platformer developed and published by Pine Studio that arrived on July 28, 2016. The game combines elements of racing and action within an indie setting while maintaining a single-player experience. Players engage in competitive heavy metal gameplay where speed and fast reaction times are central to success. The core loop involves slicing milliseconds off your time as you race and blast through deadly arenas. You can teleport, jump, fly, bounce, and drop across a hundred merciless maps designed for high-paced action. The ultimate goal of these runs is to secure the prize known as your soul. The narrative begins with Marty enjoying a late morning breakfast before a demon interrupts his routine by smashing through the door. A fierce brawl ensues where Marty loses his right arm but manages to rip off the demon's head in return. During this conflict, additional demons enter the garage and steal a batch of limited edition Walrus Ale. Marty becomes furious after these events and rips off another demon's arm before the description cuts off.
