About
Skate Story is a single-player title published by Devolver Digital and developed by Sam Eng, set for release on December 8, 2025. The game blends sports, action, indie, adventure, and RPG genres into a stylish street skating experience. Players assume the role of a demon made of glass and pain within the ash-filled setting of The Emptylands. The core objective involves skating to the Moon to swallow it and secure freedom from the Devil. You must master your weight and motion to navigate weeping concrete while performing tricks like ollies, kickflips, and grinds. Fast skating allows you to destroy vicious demons and save tortured souls along the way. The journey takes you from a fragile beginner status to that of a hardened skater. Your path includes helping a forgetful frog and discovering the Devil's weaknesses through humility and perseverance. The experience focuses on ritualistic beauty as you set your feet to pop perfect tricks. All you need is your skateboard to push through hell and complete the quest.
