About
Super Blood Hockey is a sports indie title developed and published by Loren Lemcke that was released on August 17, 2017. The game combines single-player and co-op modes within its core design. Players can also engage in multi-player sessions with up to four participants using local connections. This setup allows groups to compete directly against one another on the ice without requiring online infrastructure. The gameplay centers on creating and managing a custom team of inmates in a dystopic setting where rules do not apply. You will adjust training regimens, control diets, and administer black market pharmaceuticals to your ragtag squad. Healthcare options are left entirely to your discretion as you employ underhanded tactics to strengthen your roster. The world operates on a no-rules philosophy that defines the experience from start to finish. Arcade-style hockey action drives the core mechanics with an emphasis on fast-paced movement and violence. You can customize your lineup while utilizing superior skating, positioning, strategy, and aggression to assert dominance. Visuals present crunchy retro pixelated gore featuring blood splattering collisions and brain-scrambling head injuries. Violent seizures and bloody vomiting spells appear as part of the brutal encounters on the ice. An original soundtrack by chiptunist Shawn Daley provides driving retro beats throughout the experience. The audio complements the visual style with mind-melting chiptune melodies that match the arcade aesthetic. Main story content takes approximately zero hours to complete according to available data metrics. Adding extras extends the total playtime to roughly eleven hours for most players. Those pursuing a completionist approach may spend around twenty-one hours exploring all available content.Read moreShow less
