About
Super Mega Baseball 3 is a sports title developed by Metalhead Software Inc. and published by Electronic Arts that arrived on May 13, 2020. This indie action simulation blends single-player and co-op modes to offer various ways to play baseball. The game includes multi-player options alongside its core single-player experience for fans of the genre. The third entry in the series introduces new Franchise and Online Leagues modes while enhancing graphics significantly. Players can explore 14 detailed ballparks that feature variable lighting conditions and updated audio elements. A revamped user interface accompanies these visual upgrades along with fresh team and character content. Gameplay scales from novice to beyond-expert levels, allowing users to challenge their hand-eye coordination or relax during matches. The simulation incorporates new mechanics such as pickoffs, stealing attempts, wild pitches, passed balls, and designated hitters. Situational player traits are also included to refine baseball instincts within the sophisticated engine. Completion time varies depending on play style, with the main story taking approximately 18 hours to finish. Adding extras extends this duration to around 32 hours for those seeking a longer experience. The title offers a relaxed slugfest or an intense test of reflexes without specifying exact completion times for all modes.

Super Mega Baseball 3 Critic Reviews and Review Scores
The excellent franchise mode adds loads of depth and decision making, and on-field play is livelier than ever.
Super Mega Baseball isn't as deep a simulation as MLB The Show, but doesn't have to be: it gets the fundamentals right and has taken meaningful steps toward being a more complete baseball game.
I enjoy this game for what it does on both the casual and hardcore fronts, which is not an easy line to walk.
