About
The Bridge is an indie adventure puzzle game developed by Ty Taylor and Mario Castañeda for The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild. Released on February 22, 2013, this title falls under the strategy and platformer genres while also offering a casual experience. Players can enjoy the single-player campaign with controller support available for navigation. The game forces players to reevaluate their preconceptions of physics and perspective through logic puzzles that manipulate gravity. You will redefine the ceiling as the floor while venturing through impossible architectures in worlds designed by Isaac Newton meets M.C. Escher. Each level is uniquely detailed, aiming to provide a pronounced sense of intellectual accomplishment upon completion. The visual style features beautifully hand-drawn art resembling black-and-white lithographs throughout the experience. The content includes 48 thought-provoking puzzles, each requiring an innovative solution distinct from the others. Gameplay involves gravity manipulations, gravitational vortexes, parallel dimensions, and other mind-bending concepts where physics laws appear altered. The main story takes approximately three hours to complete, while including extras extends playtime to six hours. Completing all aspects of the game requires about eight hours of engagement with the provided content.
