What is The Forest?
The Forest is a simulation, indie, action, and adventure game developed and published by Endnight Games Ltd. It was released on April 30, 2018. You must fight to stay alive against cannibalistic mutants in a mysterious forest.
The game features a world where every tree and plant can be chopped down. Players can explore a vast network of caves and underground lakes beneath the surface. You can build a camp by chopping down trees or start a fire to keep warm. Scavenging for food is essential to prevent starvation.
Players have the option to construct small shelters or large fortresses, even ocean-side ones. Traps and defenses can be set up to create a safe perimeter around your base. During the day, players can explore and build, but at night, they must defend their base from enemies. Weapons and tools can be crafted, allowing players to either bunker down during the evening or directly confront the enemy.
