This game is set in CREO, a megacorporation that aims to save the world. Players begin their journey during their first day on the job, only to be knocked unconscious by a catastrophic event. Upon waking up, they find themselves equipped with a heavy-grade exoskeleton in a destroyed section of the complex.

The player must face dangerous enemies, including malfunctioning robots, augmented coworkers, and rogue AI, all intent on killing them. Combat is characterized as tight and visceral melee fighting where players can target and sever specific limbs from their opponents. A next-generation loot system allows players to acquire items by dismembering enemies.

Players can equip, upgrade, and craft new weapons and armor using materials obtained from defeated foes. The game features a unique leveling-up system that enhances the player's abilities. Completing the main story takes approximately 21 hours. Adding extras increases the playtime to 29 hours, while achieving completionist status requires around 48 hours.
