Them's Fightin' Herds is a 2D fighting game developed by Mane6, Inc. and published by Modus Games. The title was released on April 30, 2020, and falls within the Fighting, Indie, and Action genres. Players can choose between single-player or multi-player modes to experience the gameplay. The cast consists of adorable animals designed by cartoon producer Lauren Faust, hiding a serious fighter beneath their cute appearance. Streamlined combat relies on four buttons, a magic system, enhanced super attacks, and juggle decay to prevent infinite combos. A story mode offers an episodic adventure with exploration, combat challenges, minigames, and boss fights. Chapter 1, which stars Arizona, is currently available, while additional chapters are in development as free updates. The main story takes approximately four hours to complete, extending to five hours when including extras. Local versus play and online crossplay matchmaking allow opponents to battle offline or across the globe using GGPO rollback netcode.
