About Tomba! Special Edition

Tomba! Special Edition is an action title published and developed by Limited Run Games, arriving on July 31, 2024. This single-player experience serves as a vastly-enhanced update to a platforming classic from 1997. The game presents itself as the ultimate version of a legendary masterpiece within the genre. Players control the titular character Tomba to leap, bite, and throw their way across 2.5D landscapes. The objective involves overcoming a group of nefarious pigs while exploring ancient relics and discovering fascinating characters. You will unlock quests and unearth hidden treasures throughout this platforming adventure. The gameplay style fuses linear and nonlinear elements into one cohesive experience. Quality of life improvements include the ability to save anywhere without returning to a checkpoint. A rewind feature allows players to try again if they get stuck on a difficult challenge. The game also supports toggling for analog control. These additions are packed into a vastly-expanded special edition release.Read more
