UNDERTALE is an Indie, Fantasy, RPG video game. It was released on September 15, 2015 by tobyfox and developed by tobyfox. The game features a single-player experience. Players control a human who falls underground into the world of monsters. The goal is to find a way out or remain trapped forever.
The game's battle system allows players to negotiate their way out of danger instead of resorting to killing. Players can time their attacks for extra damage and dodge enemy attacks in a style similar to top-down shooters. UNDERTALE features original art and music that are full of personality. The story is character-rich and humorous, focusing on the relationships between characters.
The main story takes approximately 7 hours to complete. Adding extras increases the playtime to 11 hours. A completionist playthrough can take up to 21 hours.

It's hard to express just how much I adore Undertale without spoiling anything significant, but that's what I love about it. It tells its story in such a dynamic way, and with such a great understanding of the RPG player's mindset, that it couldn't have been told in any other way. It's a masterfully crafted experience that I won't forget any time soon.
