About
Warpips is a tactical action indie strategy game published by Daedalic Entertainment and developed by Skirmish Mode Games, released on April 21, 2022. The single-player experience supports controller input and offers a streamlined approach to war gaming that avoids complex micromanagement. Players can focus on the big picture while assembling an army from a diverse roster of infantry, vehicles, and airplanes. The game features randomly generated battles that differ each time you play, ensuring different scenarios with every session. Rounds last between 10 and 20 minutes, allowing for quick matches that are easy to learn but hard to master. You can compose the best army, research the right tech, and overwhelm your enemy through infinite strategic combinations. Unit synergies allow you to choose complementary forces, while a fully unlockable upgrade tree lets you customize your options. The main story length is 7 hours, extending to 11 hours when including extras for a completionist playthrough of 15 hours. There are no microtransactions or pay-to-win mechanics within the game.
