About
Prime of Flames is an indie role-playing adventure strategy game developed and published by RAYKA STUDIO. Released on December 14, 2022, this single-player title blends elements of wargame mechanics with roguelike structures. Players act as a guide for former ancestors who have revived to arrive in a new setting. The narrative follows the role of a Star Envoy leaving for the Human camp to lead various clans. The objective involves guiding warriors from different clans to uncover the truth behind history and an impending disaster. Each clan offers its own distinct playstyle, while individual classes provide unique abilities for the player to utilize. Combat scenarios differ with every encounter, allowing creativity to influence how battles are resolved. Options include recruiting a beast army, constructing a large Bronion Works, or building a magic field to overcome strong foes. The story takes place in a wilderness where ancestors once established a prosperous nation before a meteorite destroyed their world. Following the destruction, demons, ghosts, and orcs ravaged the land while witches who sheltered humans broke their covenants and vanished. The game presents this post-apocalyptic landscape as the backdrop for its strategic gameplay.
