About
Project Arrhythmia is an indie action adventure strategy title developed by Vitamin Games and published by Top Hat Studios, Inc. The game was released on June 14, 2019. It offers both single-player and multi-player experiences that include co-op modes for up to four participants. Gameplay revolves around tight bullet-hell mechanics where players must navigate evolving scenes and obstacles timed to a musical beat. The narrative takes place in the year 205X following the global spread of a disease known as the Tokyo Flu. A computer programmer named Anna Schroeder teams up with her supercomputer companion HAL to search for a cure. They investigate various projects using an interface based on pulse and rhythm. Players must avoid musically timed pulses, blocks, and bars while exploring what this mysterious project entails. The short description notes that all beautiful things within the game are deadly.
