About
Ripout is an online co-op horror first-person shooter published by 3D Realms and developed by Pet Project Games. The game was released on October 24, 2023, and falls within the action genre. Players can engage in single-player or multi-player modes to explore procedurally generated derelict ships. These environments are filled with mutants that have the ability to reconfigure their alien bodies. Survivors must fight through abandoned spaceships while collecting loot and customizing their characters. A trusty Pet Gun companion assists players throughout the journey as they search for the last remaining bastion of humanity. The experience allows users to complete a variety of missions either alone or in small teams. High variety reconfigurable monsters, including genetically altered beings, populate the mutant-infested areas. The narrative involves a once-in-a-lifetime journey through space where players seek human survivors and a key called Sanctuary. Participants must determine if they can find sanctuary in time or perish alongside other Earth residents. The co-op Sci-Fi FPS experience offers an opportunity to unravel the fate of humanity with friends or solo.
