About

Star Trek: Infinite is a grand strategy title released by Paradox Interactive on October 12, 2023, developed by Nimble Giant Entertainment. This game falls into the Adventure, Strategy, and Simulation genres and offers both single-player and multi-player modes. Players can lead one of four major factions in the galaxy to play their own Star Trek story. The experience allows users to follow a specially crafted narrative or blaze their own trail as the first Star Trek grand strategy game. Commanders choose between the United Federation of Planets, Klingon Empire, Romulan Star Empire, or Cardassian Union to lead their faction. Each faction provides its own unique style of play where decisions determine success in reaching specific goals. Victory can be achieved through routes involving diplomacy, espionage, warfare, or a combination of all these approaches. There are multiple paths available for players to pursue within the game's structure. The total time required to complete the main story plus extra content is listed as 69 hours.Read more

Compelling, but not quite there yet. Needs two seasons to grow the beard.

Star Trek: Infinite does a great job of capturing the look and feel of Star Trek, but those enticing bones splinter under the weight of its bugs and glitches.

A serviceable, sometimes-engaging official Star Trek version of Stellaris that makes sense for generic space war fans, but flounders when it comes to narrative logic and Trekkie authenticity.
