You can build bustling space ports, secret laboratories, and incubators for mysterious eggs within this living sandbox environment. The game presents consequences as you defend against challenges such as starvation, sabotage, and space zombies. If resources become scarce or the population declines, you have the option to grow more humans to sustain the colony. Players may choose to create a utopian society where everyone is well fed, happy, and safe. Alternatively, you can take colonists on adventures through the galaxy using them for the greater good of expanding the station. The experience allows you to either obey protocol or go rogue as you decide how to manage the lives of your colonists. All management decisions focus on sustaining human life and exploring the galaxy.
