The Brookhaven Experiment is an indie action title developed and published by Phosphor Games that launched on July 5, 2016. This single-player experience is designed for virtual reality and requires the HTC Vive headset to play. The game presents a survival shooter scenario where players must navigate a world where something has gone terribly wrong. Few people remain after events following an experiment tore a hole through reality, allowing things to emerge from that breach. Players will use provided weapons and tools to survive increasingly terrifying waves of horrific monsters. The objective involves figuring out what caused the beginning of the end of the world while attempting to stop it if possible. Success depends on having enough bullets and batteries to live long enough to fight off the threats. If players see enough tomorrows, they might be able to return to the event and close off the hole monsters keep emerging from.
