About
The Classrooms is a survival horror title developed by Hillcrest Games Inc. and published by Xefier Games Inc. It was released on October 28, 2022, and falls within the action genre. The game features single-player gameplay where players explore a procedural world that changes with each session. The narrative follows Robert Chen, who uses a VHS camcorder to investigate student disappearances at a condemned school in 1996. Shortly after entering the building, he becomes lost in an infinite maze of halls and classrooms. Players will examine the tape left behind to uncover various anomalies ranging from malicious entities to harmless oddities. Every playthrough generates a different layout, ensuring that the found footage is uniquely yours each time. The game presents a liminal-space setting where the environment shifts procedurally upon every visit.
