About
The Descendant - Episode 1 is an indie adventure and casual title developed by Gaming Corps AB and published by Microids Indie and Microids. This single-player experience was already released on March 24, 2016. The narrative takes place after climate change caused a nuclear holocaust that wiped out most of humanity. Only a few thousand descendants were cryogenically suspended in underground bunkers known as Arks. The story unfolds across two timelines involving the facility Ark-01. In the past timeline, players control Mia, a janitor responsible for keeping the descendants alive within the failing facility. The present timeline follows Donnie, an investigator working to rescue survivors trapped inside. The plot reveals that the end of the world serves as only the beginning of the story. A greater conspiracy is buried within Ark-01 while the mission focuses on keeping survivors alive.Read moreShow less
