About
The friends of Ringo Ishikawa is an indie action RPG developed and published by yeo that was released on May 16, 2018. This title blends fighting, adventure, and single-player mechanics into a cohesive package for fans of the genre. Players can also enjoy co-op experiences alongside multi-player options within this open world beat-em up setting. The game features school sim elements mixed with existential themes to create a distinct gameplay loop. The narrative follows highschool gang leader Ringo Ishikawa as he navigates his final autumn before graduation with his best friends. You should consider playing if you appreciate strong dialogues focused on growing up and the yakuza-delinquent aesthetic. The experience includes a town to explore, a day-night cycle, and NPCs that follow their own schedules. Combat involves unique brawl mechanics suitable for fight game enthusiasts looking for something different. Beyond the main story, which takes approximately seven hours to complete, there are extra activities available to extend playtime to eleven hours total. A completionist run through all content requires about eighteen hours of engagement with the game world. The experience includes various mini-games such as ping-pong, billiard, video-poker, and a dedicated video-game console section. School grinding and battle grinding serve as core progression systems alongside the central narrative arc.
