About
The Last Tinker: City of Colors + Soundtrack is an indie action adventure published by Daedalic Entertainment and developed by Mimimi Games. It was released on May 12, 2014, and features single-player gameplay. This title serves as a throwback to classics like Jack and Daxter or Banjo-Kazooie while avoiding the traditional jump button mechanic. The story takes place in Colortown, a world built upon creativity, emotion, and collaboration that faces a dark force named The Bleakness. This antagonist seeks to tear colors apart and drain all joy and life from the setting. Koru, a young boy from the slums of Colortown, must rise to stand against this threat. He uses color and emotion to restore life to his home in an epic adventure. Players can enjoy this colorful ride alone or with their kids as they rediscover a sense of playfulness. The game offers a vivid journey through its creative world without relying on jumping mechanics found in platformers.
