About
The Solus Project is an indie adventure and simulation game published by Teotl Studios and developed by Hourences and Grip Games. Released on June 7, 2016, this sci-fi title focuses entirely on single-player gameplay where you explore a mysterious alien world. The narrative follows humanity's last hope after Earth has been destroyed and the remaining fleet is stranded near Pluto. Your ship is destroyed upon approaching the planet Gliese-6143-C, leaving your team dead and your equipment lost. You are completely alone with no way to communicate or receive help from anyone while searching for a colony site. The main story takes approximately 14 hours to complete, though adding extras extends that time to around 19 hours. Players seeking to finish all aspects of the experience can expect a total completionist length of roughly 33 hours. The game serves as a spiritual successor to The Ball and was created by the same team behind Unmechanical. Survival elements are integrated into the exploration mechanics as you investigate the uninhabited planet. You must navigate the harsh environment without any external support systems or allies to assist you.
