About

The Suicide of Rachel Foster is an indie horror adventure developed by ONE-O-ONE GAMES and published by Daedalic Entertainment. This single-player title was released on February 19, 2020, and falls within the mystery, puzzle, and casual genres. The narrative centers on a young woman named Nicole who returns to her family hotel in Lewis & Clark County, Montana, after ten years have passed. Nicole comes back to sell the property following the deaths of both her parents and intends to make amends to Rachel's relatives. Her mother had previously left the hotel after discovering that Leonard was having an affair with Rachel, a girl Nicole's own age who eventually took her own life. Now that Nicole is alone in the decaying structure, she finds herself trapped by worsening weather conditions that prevent her from leaving the large mountain lodge. To investigate the mystery and fulfill her mother's last will, Nicole relies on Irving, a young FEMA agent who assists her using one of the first radio telephones ever built. This old cellular telephone serves as the only means for Nicole to unveil a terrible truth about the past while she audits the building with the family's lawyer. The main story takes approximately four hours to complete, which is also the duration required for both the main plot and any extra content.
