About
The Thrill of the Fight is a VR boxing title published and developed by Sealost Interactive LLC, released on October 24, 2019. This sports and action game operates strictly within a room-scale environment where players must physically move to interact with the virtual ring. To play, you need a minimum supported play area measuring 2m by 2m, or 6.5ft by 6.5ft, with your SteamVR Chaperone or Oculus Guardian boundaries configured correctly. The experience requires physical movement around the defined space rather than joystick controls, and it does not support the Oculus Quest headset. In this authentic boxing simulation, you enter a virtual gym to face a series of unique challengers who each possess their own fighting styles and techniques. Success depends on using timing and skill to evade swings, land jabs, block punches, and ultimately deliver a knockout blow. The game focuses on making you sweat your way to the top of the boxing world by stepping through the ropes and grabbing your gloves. You are expected to physically move and punch anywhere within and around the play area you have defined to become the king of the ring.
