The Walking Dead Onslaught is an indie action RPG and adventure simulation developed and published by Survios. This single-player VR title was released on September 29, 2020. Players assume the roles of characters from AMC's The Walking Dead to face a constant threat of walkers in an apocalyptic setting. The game focuses on survival where there is no rest when lives are at risk. The narrative takes place after the war with the Saviors has ended, leaving survivors to deal with lingering damage and a broken society. Rebuilding Alexandria Safe Zone requires risk and sacrifice to mend the community for future generations. Users can play through chapters of an all-new story while managing their home base in this post-apocalyptic world. Character options include Rick, Daryl, Michonne, and Carol as they confront the horrors of their new reality.
