About
ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove! is an indie adventure and casual title published by HumaNature Studios, with development also handled by the same studio. The game was released on February 28, 2019, offering a mix of single-player and multi-player experiences that include co-op modes for up to four players. This rogue-like adventure features funky aliens from planet Funkotron who have crash-landed on Earth in search of missing ship pieces needed to return home. The experience is infused with old school hip-hop elements and includes numerous throwbacks to the 1991 classic original game. Original Funk Lord and co-creator Greg Johnson returned to lead the sequel, which presents new items to help the iconic duo navigate the unpredictable world of Earth. Players can team up to discover secret locations, find hidden presents, and meet new friends while working toward retrieving all lost pieces for the Rapmaster Rocket.
