About
True Love ～Confide to the Maple～ is a text adventure game developed and published by SP-time. Released on October 5, 2016, the title falls within the indie, adventure, and casual genres. The experience is designed for single-player sessions where players explore a love story set in modern China after reform and opening up. The narrative focuses on Guo Hengyi and Yao Fengyi, who are childhood sweethearts separated by different classes and college entrance exam pressure. Tang Haiyin and Yao Fengxi also enter their lives following an unexpected accident that involves them all. Players should note that non-Chinese speakers might interpret the character name Feng as Maple and Hai as Sea to better understand the story context. Although the setting depicts modern Chinese society, relationships between teenagers remain restricted within the game's world. The plot examines how characters navigate these restrictions while experiencing events beyond their initial expectations. An accident serves as a turning point that challenges the characters' faith and commitments. Ultimately, the decision of whether to maintain those bonds or choose real love rests on the player's choices.Read moreShow less
