About
Ultimate General: Gettysburg is a tactical battle simulator developed and published by Game-Labs for release on October 16, 2014. This indie strategy simulation lets players command thousands of soldiers as either a Union or Confederate general during the famous Battle of Gettysburg. The game offers both single-player and multi-player modes within its historical setting. Players can lead their army using different strategies while the non-linear battle campaign progresses. Your decisions and military performance play a crucial role in determining the result of the conflict. The experience includes an accurately created map, complex morale systems, innovative control mechanics, and smart AI. The game features nine distinctive AI personalities that provide difficulty without relying on gameplay cheats. Each commander possesses their own attributes to influence the battle dynamics. Main story content takes approximately seven hours to complete, while main story plus extras extend playtime to nine hours. A completionist approach requires about thirty hours to finish all available content. Ultimate General: Gettysburg was voted Best Strategy Game of 2014 by PCGamesN.
