About
Waltz of the Wizard is an indie action RPG and adventure simulation published by Aldin Dynamics on July 10, 2019. The developer Aldin Dynamics created this title which supports both single-player and multi-player modes including co-op play. Players can experience the game in virtual reality using voice interaction, hand-tracking with index only support, and gesture controls. The world draws inspiration from films like Fantasia and Harry Potter while featuring an ancient talking skull to assist with combining arcane ingredients. Users unleash diverse wizardry within a fully interactive environment powered by natural magic particle physics that responds to real user motions. The game offers believable characters capable of hundreds of reactions alongside a large campaign filled with storyline, combat, and challenges. The title received recognition at the UploadVR Best Of 2021 Awards for Best Updated Game where it was noted that Aldin helped pioneer VR as we know it today. It also won Best Innovation at the NYX Game Awards in 2022. These accolades highlight the game's focus on cutting-edge technologies and interactive abilities within its simulation genre.
