About
War for the Overworld is an action indie fantasy strategy simulation title published and developed by Brightrock Games. The game was released on April 1, 2015, offering players a shift from invading dungeons to building their own underground fortresses. This dungeon management game combines elements of real-time strategy and god games to let you carve out your lair and conquer the overworld. It supports both single-player and multi-player modes for varied gameplay experiences. The main story runs for approximately 14 hours, while including extras extends playtime to about 26 hours. A completionist approach to the game requires around 46 hours to finish all content. Players can excavate and construct their dungeon beneath the overworld using rooms, traps, and minions of their choice. The experience is guided by Richard Ridings, who provides mentorship as the voice of evil within the Arsenal of Evil.

War for the Overworld Critic Reviews and Review Scores
EurogamerRichard Cobbett
At the moment, it's hard to recommend actually buying it. It's not hard, however, to imagine that the few months when it should have remained Early Access will be able to make the difference - to file off the rough edges, add the missing features, and create a dungeon experience that can appeal to both the hardcore fans out for a challenge and more casual Keepers looking for the darkly dripping horrors of a place to realise their evil whims.
