Players can engage in large-scale conflicts where Western forces face off against the Communist bloc. The game is set in 1991, with battles taking place across Asia and involving various countries such as Japan, China, North Korea, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand. Players command military resources from all 17 participating nations, choosing from a vast selection of over 1,450 meticulously recreated units.
The main story in Wargame: Red Dragon can be completed in approximately 49 hours. If players also explore additional content, the total playtime increases to around 124 hours.
