About
Welcome to the Game II is a title published and developed by Reflect Studios that blends indie, strategy, and simulation genres. Released on April 3, 2018, this single-player experience focuses on atmospheric horror within a puzzle framework. The game places players in the role of Clint Edwards, an investigative reporter working in a major metropolitan area. The narrative begins when Clint wakes from a nap to strange sounds emanating from his computer. A mysterious link directs him to a live stream where a woman named Amalea is broadcasting for help while masked men hunt her down. She mentions the shadow web before the connection cuts out abruptly, prompting Clint to investigate further. Players will spend approximately four hours completing the main story if they focus solely on the primary objectives. Adding optional extras extends the total playtime to five hours, which also represents the completionist length for this title. The plot drives an investigative journey into the deep web as the reporter attempts to locate Amalea before it is too late.
