About
Ad Infinitum is a horror action game developed by Hekate and published by Nacon, released on September 14, 2023. The title belongs to the first person adventure genre and includes survival elements within its gameplay loop. Players experience a single-player campaign where they assume the role of a German soldier affected by the Great War. The narrative takes place in a run-down manor house that remains unchanged from the protagonist's teenage years. While exploring this deserted location, the character is inexplicably transported to World War I trenches filled with terrifying creatures. The game forces players to distinguish between reality and nightmare as they fight to regain control of their life story. To progress through the experience, you must solve puzzles that stand in the way of escaping death traps and monsters. These enemies range from blind demons sensitive to sound to disjointed puppets that move effectively in the dark. Understanding the source and motivation behind each threat is essential for survival within the game's horror setting. The story spans seven hours for the main plot, extending to eight hours if extras are included. A completionist playthrough requires approximately nine hours to finish all available content. Through exploration and puzzle solving between the home and the barbed wire of No Man's Land, players reveal a chapter about a family torn apart by war.Read moreShow less
