About
Discounty is an indie management simulation developed by Crinkle Cut Games and published by PQube, scheduled for release on August 21, 2025. This single-player title supports controller input and falls within the casual, managerial, RPG, and simulation genres. Players take on the role of a manager in the harbour town of Blomkest, tasked with running a discount supermarket left to them by their secretive aunt. The core gameplay involves designing and organizing the shop layout while managing stock levels and working the checkout. You can rearrange shelves and products to create an efficient store that invites customers to navigate easily through the aisles. Adding decorations is also part of the process to encourage purchases within the local community. Beyond daily operations, the game focuses on building relationships with charming locals who may not immediately welcome newcomers. Players must gain the trust of manufacturers to make trade deals and sell local specialty goods to boost profits. Rapid business expansion might ruffle feathers in this tight-knit community, adding a layer of social dynamics to the management experience. Reinvesting soaring profits allows you to grow the business by stocking more goods and advertising the store around town. Keeping shelves stocked, floors clean, and the storage room organized ensures that customers are served promptly without long waits. You can also choose your appearance, handpick an outfit, and select a name that reflects your personal style while managing the shop.Read moreShow less
