About
FINAL FANTASY IV is an RPG developed and published by Square Enix that was released on September 8, 2021. This single-player title presents a remodeled 2D take on the fourth installment of the renowned series. The game features completely new graphics and audio while maintaining charming retro visuals. Players can enjoy the timeless story through this pixel art style update. The Kingdom of Baron dispatched their elite airship fleet, known as the Red Wings, to attack neighboring nations. Cecil serves as a dark knight and captain of these ships but becomes distressed by his mission. He chooses to fight against the tyrannical regime of Baron alongside his trusted friend and paramour. His journey involves searching for crystals across various locations including land, underground areas, the Land of Summons, and even the moon. Cecil travels with allies such as Kain the dragoon, Rosa the white mage, and Rydia the summoner. This version offers all the magic of the original game with improved ease of play. The main story takes approximately 21 hours to complete. Adding extras extends the experience to about 24 hours total. A completionist run requires roughly 28 hours to finish all content.Read moreShow less
