Five Nights at Freddy's is an indie simulation game developed and published by Scott Cawthon. It was released on August 19, 2014. The game features a single-player mode. Players take on the role of a security guard working at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. The main attraction at the pizza place are animatronic robots named Freddy Fazbear and his two friends. These robots are programmed to entertain the crowds during the day but become unpredictable at night.
Players must monitor the security cameras and manage their limited electricity supply to survive the night. The game has a short main story that can be completed in about 2 hours.
