About
Flinthook is an indie action-adventure title developed and published by Tribute Games Inc., released on April 18, 2017. The single-player experience follows space captain Flinthook as he uses a hookshot, slow-motion abilities, and a blasma pistol to navigate randomly assembled spaceships. Players can plunder these environments for treasure, loot, and fame while fighting their way through various challenges. The game combines fast-paced action-platforming mechanics with roguelike elements to create an infinite variety of levels. You aim freely and toss your giant anchor at golden rings to propel yourself around stages at high speeds. This movement system provides the agility needed to dodge hazards and enemy bullets while shooting in 360 degrees. Hunt down pirate rivals and collect wondrous relics to become the greatest pirate of the Universe. The main story takes approximately 18 hours to complete, with additional content extending playtime to around 26 hours. For those seeking a full completionist run, the total length reaches about 53 hours.
