The game offers both single-player and multi-player modes with support for controllers. The story-driven campaign lets players step into the shoes of a foreigner determined to make their mark on the drifting scene. You will compete in 40 narrative-driven events and additional sidequests against top local drifters. This journey is experienced through hand-drawn manga pages that add an artistic touch to the gameplay. Driving models are designed primarily for gamepads, offering an Arcade mode suited for beginners and a Simcade mode with all assists off. Players can switch between these two models at any time during the game. The open world includes over 250 km of main roads, standalone racing tracks, and instanced events. Licensed cars from Nissan, Honda, Subaru, and Mazda are available for players to sit behind the wheel of. Tuning options allow players to adjust mechanical parts, suspension, wheel camber, gear ratios, and more. Visual customization includes hoods, lights, full body kit swaps, paint colors from a free palette, and underglow. The audio features authentic car sounds captured through original recordings and genre-themed radio stations. These stations include J-music, Phonk, and Eurobeat to choose the perfect soundtrack for your drive. Multiplayer allows up to 8 players in the lobby to cruise around or set up car meets.
