About
Kalimba is an action and casual platforming adventure developed by Press Play and published by Xbox Game Studios. The game was released on April 22, 2015, offering players a choice between single-player and multi-player modes. You can jump, switch, and fly your way through mind-bending subterranean puzzles in this new title from the award-winning studio. The island of Kalimba has been cast into darkness by an evil shaman, requiring your totems to journey from the underworld to the heavens. This journey aims to restore light to the land as you navigate the game's levels. Official Xbox Magazine described the couch co-op challenge available in the game as magical. Players can download Kalimba now and begin their adventure immediately. The main story takes approximately six hours to complete, while including extras extends playtime to about twenty-eight hours. A completionist approach to the game requires roughly sixty-two hours of gameplay. These timeframes provide a clear picture of how long the experience lasts depending on your goals.Read moreShow less

Kalimba is a beautiful, cheerful platformer that finds a neat middle ground between reflex-oriented running and taxing puzzle solving.

Kaimba isn't much to look at, but the clever puzzle-platforming is charming all its own.

Kalimba's multitasking isn't as gimmicky as its two-character gameplay premise implies.
