About
Quantum Break is a video game developed by Remedy Entertainment and published by Xbox Game Studios. It was released on September 29, 2016. The game is classified as an action title and features single-player gameplay. The Quantum Break experience combines elements of both a video game and a live-action show. Players' decisions in the game directly influence the events unfolding in the live-action segments. One character seeks to control this newfound power, while the other strives to defeat him and restore order to time before it is irreparably damaged. Both protagonists face formidable challenges and make crucial decisions that shape the future. The game boasts a talented cast, including Shawn Ashmore as Jack Joyce, Aidan Gillen as Paul Serene, and Dominic Monaghan as William Joyce. Players can expect to spend approximately 10 hours completing the main story of Quantum Break. Extending playtime with additional content increases the total time to around 13 hours. Achieving a completionist playthrough will require roughly 19 hours of gameplay.

Quantum Break Critic Reviews and Review Scores

A slick yet hollow hybrid of television and third-person shooting, Quantum Break sees electric style winning out over a lack of substance.

Quantum Break is a stylish, often-exhilarating third-person shooter wrapped up in a tautly paced tale of time travel.

An average shooter tied to a compelling, confident story, but the TV show is ultimately an expensive, if entertaining, gimmick.

The show leaves a bit to be desired, but the game is full of breakneck firefights and stunning action set pieces

Quantum Break looks slick, but bouts of ineffective gameplay and its mixed-media construction make this a hit-and-miss experience.
