About
ScourgeBringer is a fast-paced free-moving roguelite platformer developed by Flying Oak Games and E-Studio under the publisher Dear Villagers. The game was released on October 21, 2020, and falls within the action, indie, and adventure genres. Players can experience this single-player title as they assume the role of Kyhra, the deadliest warrior of her clan. Set in a post-apocalyptic world where a mysterious entity caused widespread destruction to humanity, the narrative follows Kyhra as she explores unknown territories. Her journey involves slashing through ancient machines that guard the seal of her past while seeking redemption for humanity. The gameplay combines fluid platforming controls with a frantic combat system focused primarily on attacks. Combat mechanics allow players to slash and shoot smoothly while dashing forward through levels filled with enemies. The audio experience is driven by otherworldly adaptive sounds created by composer Joonas Turner, who has worked on titles such as Nuclear Throne and Downwell. This title serves as a sequel concept from the developers of NeuroVoider, offering a distinct rogue-platforming experience.Read moreShow less

Kinetic action, beautiful, horrible pixel-art and a sense of place that stays with you - this is a dark treat.
