About
The Blackout Club is an action, indie, and simulation title published by Question that arrived on July 29, 2019. Developed by Question, this first-person co-op horror experience allows 1 to 4 players to explore procedurally-generated missions together. The gameplay centers on a group of teenage friends who investigate a monstrous secret hidden beneath the skin of their small town. In the game's narrative, every resident wakes up each morning with no recollection of where they were or what happened during the night. Some teenagers discovered themselves in the woods or on train tracks after experiencing these events, but authorities and adults dismissed their claims as untrue. After forming The Blackout Club to solve the mystery, the group faces a recent disappearance that escalates the sleepwalking situation. Players can engage in single-player or multi-player modes while confronting a fearsome enemy visible only when eyes are closed. The main story takes approximately 6 hours to complete, with additional content extending playtime to around 8 hours.

Impressive heritage and a handful of neat ideas bubble beneath this co-op horror, though they're both ultimately squandered.
