About
The Coma: Recut is a survival-adventure title developed by Devespresso Games and published by Headup. Released on September 21, 2017, this indie horror game places players in the role of Youngho, a Korean high school student trapped within Sehwa High. The single-player experience involves running, hiding, and exploring hellish corridors while being pursued by a psychotic killer. Players must piece together the mystery of the location as they navigate through the remastered version of this cult classic. The game features 2D hand-illustrated visuals that present a unique infusion of Korean horror elements into the genre. Mechanics allow players to listen carefully for footsteps that reveal the killer's approach before they strike. Survivors must avoid poisonous tentacles and clawing shadows while searching for notes and clues scattered throughout the school. The narrative includes interactions with other individuals trapped in the building, though their trustworthiness remains uncertain during intense moments. The main story length is approximately five hours, extending to six hours when extras are included. A completionist playthrough requires about seven hours to finish all available content. During quiet sections, players can crouch in the shadows to evade detection as the Killer searches for them. The plot eventually reveals startling details about the state of the school before it explodes.
