About
The Jackbox Party Pack 5, developed and published by Jackbox Games, Inc., arrived on October 17, 2018. This title falls within the indie, strategy, and casual genres while supporting single-player, co-op, and multi-player modes. The package includes five new games designed for party settings without requiring extra controllers. Players can use phones, tablets, or computers to join in. One offering is YOU DON'T KNOW JACK: Full Stream, a pop-culture trivia mash-up that supports one to eight players. Another option is Split the Room, a what-if game where three to eight participants create strange hypothetical situations. Mad Verse City allows three to eight players to write lyrics as a rap battling robot. Patently Stupid challenges three to eight players to draw odd inventions for bizarre problems. The final game is Zeeple Dome, described as a deadly show in the Crab Nebula for one to six players. In this mode, participants fling themselves at bloodthirsty aliens to win millions of Zubabucks. The main story length is three hours, while completionist play extends to six hours. The entire experience is available only in English.
