About
Tools Up! is an indie action adventure simulation and casual title published by Untold Tales and developed by The Knights of Unity, released on December 3, 2019. This local co-op experience tests renovation and teamwork skills while players paint walls, tear off wallpaper, and move couches against the clock. The game supports single-player modes as well as multiplayer sessions for up to four participants working together in a shared space. Players gather friends to tackle home renovation tasks that involve laying tiles and throwing items between rooms within a skyscraper setting. A blueprint serves as the guide for transforming apartments left by owners, with teams cooperating to complete specific design goals or risk making a mess. Environmental elements add variety to the gameplay, including scenarios where renovations must be performed while surrounded by lava. The main story takes approximately six hours to finish, while completing all extras extends playtime to eight hours.
